Do you love books?
So do we! We’re looking for people in the SLO area that want to be part of a community that supports authors through peer-review and critique. Here’s your chance to get feedback that will help you finish your work or polish it into something publishable.

Are you writing something at the moment?
We accept all genres, word-lengths, styles, formats, fictions and non-fictions, scribbled napkins, or stone tablets as long as you’re the original author and it expresses something you care deeply about.

If you’re not writing, why not? Who or what is stopping you? Come to one of our meetings or send us an e-mail and we’ll gladly help you out or we’ll find someone who can.

When and where do we meet?
Depends on people’s schedules. Usually in SLO once a month somewhere where we can find good coffee for inspiration.

Do you have something you’ve already written that you’d like us to read?
Type up your manuscript and e-mail it to yourself. This functions as a form of preprinting which allows you to easily send copies to others and in the unlikely case of someone plagiarizing your work, allows you to prove that you wrote it first. And it means that you’ll always have a backup copy so you’ll never lose your work.

Then forward it to us so we can all have a chance to read it.
